CYCLONE AND MULTI-CYCLONE DUST COLLECTOR
Cyclone Dust Collector or Multi-cyclone dust collector have same principle as single cyclone dust collectors using Centrifugal force and forming dual counter flow to separate heavier dusts from dust loaded gas. The efficiency of a multi cyclone dust collectors in collecting finer dust particles highly depends on the amount of centrifugal forces created by the cyclone system and longer occupancy time to allow more dust particles to settle down. These two factor increases better separation of particles in multi cyclone dust collector.
DeGATECH Branded multicyclone separators, multicyclone dust collectors, are custom designed considering all process parameters, exhausts dust laden air properties and build with outmost quality and efficiency complying to national & international quality and emission standards. DeGATECH multicyclone dust collectors can be used as pre-cleaners installing it before Bagfilter or ESPs or wet scrubber or can also be used as main dust collection equipment depending on process and applications. The centrifugal force can be increased by reducing the cyclone diameter and the occupancy time can be increased by increasing the cone structure height.

The pressure drop of Multi-cyclone is comparably higher than a single cyclones and this higher pressure drop yields higher efficiency, requiring more energy to clean the same amount of air inserted in single cyclone dust collector. A single-chamber cyclone separator of same volume is more economical and suitable, but doesn’t remove much dust.
The high efficient Multi cyclone dust collector unit design highly depends on number of factors including nature of dusts ( Sticky, combustible, explosive, abrasive ), dust loading in the dust collector and particle size, temperature of dust loaded air, moisture content of the loaded air, etc.[/read_more]
